6 Medium size potatoes
½ pint whipping cream
½ cup butter
Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
Bake unpeeled potatoes until tender. Avoid overcooking. Allow the potatoes to cool. Peel the potatoes and shred. Layer in casserole 1/3 of your potatoes, top with squares of butter and salt lightly. Layer next 1/3 of potatoes and repeat butter and salt. Place remaining potatoes on top. Place additional squares of butter and salt on potatoes. Pour unwhipped whipping cream over potatoes and refrigerate until needed. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Substitute shredded frozen potatoes if you are short on time. Half and Half may be used in place of the whipping cream. Add ham to make it the main dish!
