Where to Donate

Our food pantry relies on the generosity of our community to successfully serve our patrons – local families in need. Therefore, we strive to make donating food and other necessities as easy and as convenient as possible.

Donations may be brought directly to the Food Pantry on Wednesdays from 8:30am-9:30am and most Mondays from 8:30am-10:30am.

Collection bins are located at local businesses throughout Sauk Prairie. You may drop off donations during their normal business hours.

  • Piggly Wiggly Grocery in Sauk City
  • Hansen’s IGA in Prairie du Sac
  • Community Center Lobby (730 Monroe Street, Sauk City)
  • The Mixing Bowl Bakery (525 Water St, Sauk City)

Many area churches have special giving Sundays or places to leave food donations.

Please contact the Food Pantry at (608) 571-7737 if you need to make other arrangements to drop off donations. We’re happy to find a time that works with your schedule.

Thank you for your donations. We appreciate your support!

January 2018 Requests

It’s January! This is a great month to donate jelly, canned fruit, pancake mix, pancake syrup, shampoo, and deodorant.

If you travel and stay in hotels, please save your hotel travel shampoos, conditioners, and lotions for the Food Pantry.  They are the perfect size for single-person households.  They are also great for high school students to take a few, slip them in their backpacks, and take them home.

October 2017 Requests

The Sauk Prairie Food Pantry is currently in desperate need of donations of paper goods, especially toilet paper. Most people don’t realize that Food Pantries have need of donations of paper goods and yet, our patrons often struggle to pay for this on-going household expense.
